The introductory package includes the basic functions and is permanently free of charge. For the Professional and Business versions, you pay a small monthly fee (9.99 and 14.99 euros respectively), but benefit from several additional features. These include

  • a larger number of booking calendars,
  • the management of seasons and/or prices,
  • data export and data import as well as
  • the uncomplicated generation of invoices.

For a complete overview of the features included in each package, see the CalendarApp home page.

Step 2: Start with the entry package!

If you want to create your own booking calendar, you should first get to know the free entry-level version. Register with your e-mail address and a password of your choice. After that you can either explore the tool by feeling or dedicate yourself briefly to the tutorial that explains everything to you.

Step 3: Create your own booking calendar!

To create your first calendar yourself, select "Calendar" from the menu on the left and then click on "Create new calendar" in the upper right corner. Then the tool will ask you if you want to "Daily Booking" or "Hourly Booking". Answer it.

Step 4: Fill out all fields!

After the introduction it is time to fill in all fields in such a way that at the end your desired occupancy calendar comes out. For example, you can narrow down the months that are relevant to you. You also specify details such as the use of forward and backward arrows and the design.

Apropos design: The CalendarApp provides you with several templates from which you can choose your favorite. If you later create your own booking calendar with one of the paid versions, you can also integrate your own visual ideas.

Step 5: Check the automatic e-mail texts!

Next, look at the automatic e-mail texts. They're conveniently pre-made - in German, English and Italian. As soon as a customer books with you, the e-mail is sent to him, you don't have to do anything.

Tip: If you have the Professional or Business package, you have the option of adding your own languages in addition to those mentioned. To do this, enter your text in the "Individual" section.

Step 6: Complete the process successfully!

The sixth step is at the same time the (for the time being) last step. Click on "Create calendar". This will save your booking calendar. It will then be visible in the main overview of your account. Of course you can change it continuously. Use the options on the right side.

Tip: The options also take you to the HTML code with which you can embed your own calendar into your website.

Fazit

In summary it can be said that it is easy to create a booking calendar yourself - at least if you use CalendarApp. The functional tool is available in three variants. First familiarize yourself with the free entry-level version and then decide whether you need the Professional or Business package in the long term.
